The human race is simply amazing--
Only a human can take a life and not think twice,
        If it will benefit them
Only a human uses others as a ladder
        If it will benefit them.
Only a human will wrong their own kind
        If it will benefit them.
The Rights of Man have long been ignored,
But it is time we rethink our progress.
The human race is the most developed race,
        And also the least.

The basest practice is one which only Humans practice--
        War.
It is pathetic, lamentable, wretched, heartrending.
The soldier wants to serve his country,
        But what is the country serving?
Greed and mistrust of a handful of human beings
        Causes millions to die--
        For what reason?
When War is brewing the stars frown upon
        The human race,
        The oceans simmer,
        The air gives a depressing sigh,
And the mountains shake their heads distastefully
        As the human race exterminates itself.
And it all started with innocent Ignorance
        Of a Human Being.
